DISCOVER OUR NOBLE WOODS

Each piece not only represents excellence in durability and natural beauty, but also captures the essence of traditional craftsmanship. Below, we present the main woods we work with, highlighting their unique properties and recommended uses.

OAK

Dense and wear-resistant, with pronounced grain and warm tones that age gracefully. Highly durable against moisture and insects. Rustic furniture, flooring, and interior/exterior doors. Ideal for high-traffic pieces due to its robustness.

CHERRY

Straight-grained and smooth-textured, with vibrant reddish tones that darken beautifully. Good workability and crack resistance. Cabinets, dining tables, and frames. Ideal for cozy interiors where bright color adds vitality.

CHESTNUT

Hard and flexible, with wavy grain and golden tones that develop a patina over time. Resistant to fungi and highly vaporizable. Roof structures, barrels, and traditional furniture. Excellent for pieces that require bending or natural aging.

PINE

Light and resinous, with characteristic knots and light yellowish tones. High availability, easy to work with, and good nail resistance. It is suitable for construction, flooring, and affordable furniture. Versatile for rustic or weather-treated outdoor projects.

WALNUT

Walnut wood is hard, durable, and dark brown with decorative grain, ideal for high-quality interior furniture. It is easy to work and finish, accepting varnishes and oils well. It is not recommended for outdoor use, as it does not tolerate moisture or weathering well.

MAHOGANY

Light yet very strong, with a fine, deep red grain that pulses over time. Resistant to rot and tropical climates. Suitable for cabinetmaking, yachts, and outdoor furniture. Its elegance makes it a star in classic and contemporary designs.

TEAK

Dense and oily, with golden hues that darken in the air. Extremely resistant to moisture, insects, and wear without treatment. Suitable for boat covers, decks, and garden furniture. Ideal for humid or exposed environments where durability is key.

EBONY

Extremely dense and hard, almost black with contrasting grain. Highly scratch and wear resistant, with a silky feel. Musical instruments, tool handles, and jewelry details. For high-contrast accents in minimalist designs.

ROSEWOOD

Interlocking, aromatic grain with deep reddish-purple tones. Very durable, warp-resistant, and excellent polishing. Guitars, knife handles, and high-end furniture. Its exotic character makes it perfect for artistic and decorative pieces.

JATOBÁ

Very hard and dense, with a vibrant red-orange color and interlocking grain. High impact and wear resistance, similar to oak. Suitable for high-traffic floors, stairs, and tools. Ideal for outdoors or demanding areas due to its tropical toughness.

MAPLE

Hard and straight-grained, with light and white tones that reflect light. Excellent for turning, with good surface wear resistance. Sports floors, baseball bats, and countertops. Perfect for Scandinavian or modern designs seeking clarity and uniformity.

IROKO

Dense and stable, with golden-yellow tones that darken to brown. Resistant to water, fungi, and insects, similar to teak. Windows, exterior doors, and nautical furniture. Versatile for tropical or humid climates without losing its charm.

FIR

Lightweight and resonant, with a straight grain and clear, whitish tones. Good workability and stability, with low shrinkage. Acoustic instruments, structural beams, and packaging. Ideal for lightweight construction or where natural sound is valued.

POPLAR

Soft and lightweight, with a fine grain and uniform yellowish-white color. Easy to paint or stain, with low cost and good adhesive strength. Painted boxes, moldings, and economical furniture. Perfect for volume projects or as a base for custom finishes.

WHITE BEECH

Hard and heavy, with light and white hues that offer natural luminosity. Highly resistant to wear, impact, and mildew; easy to work with and excellent for finishing. Moderate stability once dry. Interior furniture, carpentry (doors, paneling), flooring, and cabinetry. Perfect for bright, minimalist designs in modern homes.
